"ALL" About Me


     Many people are often asked the question "who are you?" And most people would just give their name with a smile if you're lucky. Well what they really want to know is who is the person behind the name. My name is Jaelyn Powell and I'm, going to introduce to you the person behind the name. I was born on November 2,2000 in Columbus, Georgia. I was raised in Phenix City by my single mother Tracy Powell. I have 4 other siblings that i grew up with, two brothers and 2 sisters. I was raised in Phenix City Alabama but when I was about 11 my family  moved to Birmingham Alabama until I was halfway through my freshman year. That was when I returned back to my hometown and was introduced to Central High School, the home of the Red devils.I loved it so much there I decided to graduate. I was apart of my schools thespian society because of my role as Costume Designer for the musical theater group. I can honestly say I am pretty amazing at making a rag into a miracle (literally).I can also attest to the saying that "diamonds are a girls best friend," because if not diamonds what else. I enjoy sleeping in the morning and eating at night. Literally maybe two of my most joyous times. 
If you read all of that, i know you're in love but nobody likes a stalker.

College + Life = Struggle

          College students often struggle to keep up with their schoolwork while also keeping up with life. Life comes quick and when college is involved it multiplies. School in itself is a personal job, you have to manage your time, grades and life all at once. School is more advanced and challenging than what it used to be. Many people who push to achieve an education but also have day-to-day life problems struggle. Colleges often try to be more flexible for their students and also teachers so that everyone can prosper. Most students have a job and also have to balance school and work life. This often causes stress and once we are stressed all hell breaks loose. Your hair isn’t done, you look like a bum you got 6 assignments due tomorrow and you got to work til’ 12 pm tonight. That is what you call quitting time. MLA Citation

       I always happen to format my paper all the way wrong and I don’t know how. I always read the instructions given by my teacher and all the necessities but some thing seems to always go wrong . It isn’t hard to understand they are pretty easy instructions to follow, but my problem is the comprehension part. I turned my paper in around five-ish and I come to class only to find out I formatted my paper incorrectly. It’s in a some kind of MLA Format, just not the right one. In text citations and the works cited is also easy to follow just because Mr. B has so so so so so so so many documents on citations. Easy access, yessir.
